The Innovative User Community
The aim of this website, which is a so called “community”, is to allow users to innovate and discuss together.
The use of the services of the Innovative User Community is free of charge for the participant.
The participant can terminate the use of the offer of the Innovative User Community at any time without giving any reason. On termination of the membership all data of the participant can be deleted upon request.
Coloplast can terminate the access for the participant to the Innovative User Community at any time with or without cause, including but not limited to cases, where a participant states intentional or fraudulently information or intentionally breaks the terms of use or participation.
Rules of Participation:
The following non-exhaustive content examples will be removed from the Innovative User Community without prior warning:
1. Wrong facts, insults, swearwords or threats
2. Contribution that bother, offend, slander, threaten or denigrate other persons, ethnic groups or religious beliefs
3. Contributions with racist, violent, politically extremist, sexist, discriminating or offensive content
4. Contributions with photos of naked persons or pornographic motives
5. Illustrations of physical or sexual violence
The participant may publish under the above-mentioned conditions only content that he is entitled to do. If publications contain references to third parties, they may be published only with the consent of the third party.
The participant is not allowed to misuse non-approved data, or store, edit, change, pass on, commercially use or misuse the data in any form.
Coloplast Liability:
Coloplast does not take responsibility for information and data of third parties, in particular as to completeness, correctness, indemnity of third party rights or conformity with provisions or other obligatory rules.
Coloplast does not warrant the correctness, completeness or use of information provided on the Innovative User Community. Coloplast is neither liable for the misuse of information published by the participants.
Coloplast does not warrant the effectiveness and operational state of the systems made available to the participants. Coloplast does not take responsibility for mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in the use or transfer, failure of communications systems as well as unauthorized access or theft, destruction or changes of the information provided by the participant. Coloplast is not obliged to maintain existing information, data and services or interrupt or change them.
Coloplast is not liable for any participants’ attempt to experiment product solutions on them self and any such use should only be made with the assistance of a health care professional.
Right to Inventions, Copyright and Secrecy:
All and any ideas, whether patentable or not, that are displayed and discussed in this community, shall be the ownership of Coloplast, and may be used solely upon Coloplast’s discretion.
Participants should assume that everything on this website is protected by copyright unless otherwise stated and may only be used according to these Legal Aspects. Coloplast does not warrant or represent that use of materials displayed on this website will not infringe rights of third parties. Any unauthorised use of the material may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes. Users of this website are personally and solely responsible for ensuring that uploaded material does not infringe copyrights or privacy of third parties. Therefore, whenever submitting content (e.g. descriptions, pictures) in discussions, participants are to ensure that individuals cannot be identified and that appropriate releases have been obtained. Furthermore, common standards of behaviour should be followed in all interactive parts of the site. Any questions, comments, suggestions or any other communications, including any ideas, inventions, concepts, techniques or know-how forwarded through this site or otherwise to the parties behind it, electronically or by any other means, are on a confidential basis and will become the property of Coloplast, which Coloplast without restriction may use in any fashion and for any purposes whatsoever including developing, manufacturing and/or marketing goods or services. This website collects data about individual’s behaviour and interaction with the Innovative User Community only for optimisation of this community. Data is solely gathered to improve the customisation of this website to fit users' interests, and to service users with the most appropriate information on products and services. No data gathered as a result of users' interaction with this website is shared with or transferred to any third party outside the Innovative User Community.
This website makes information available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes available for other members of this community and participants should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information.
This website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under Coloplast control.
Governing Law
Any access and use of this website and the contents hereof shall be governed by the laws of Denmark without regard to the principles or laws of any jurisdiction regarding conflict of laws.
Access/Acceptance
Parts of the website are closed for the public, and only users accepting registration of name, email-address etc are granted access. This is done to ensure that users can feel comfortable when interacting with others on the website. All users accepting registration are contacted by phone by Coloplast, allowing the Innovative User Community to keep close to users and their needs, just as a high degree of seriousness is sought by this procedure.
By remaining on this site you accept the stated terms, and no charges can be pressed against Coloplast now or in the future. If you do not accept the terms in this disclaimer you are to leave the site immediately, and inform Coloplast that your user account should be closed.
